A year after cops broke Freddie’s neck in their van, police violence is still alive and well. Despite of the outrage that all the deaths of PoC provoked, the government still hasn’t done much to change the situation.
Three of 6 officers involved on Freddie Gray’s death were charged. The trial of the first officer ended in a hung jury. His retrial and trials of the others are due to start next month. Let’s just all hope that the bastards get what they deserve.
